- Start by selecting "New Campaign" from the Email Marketing menu, or the "Create Campaign" button from the Email Marketing Dashboard.
- Next, enter the Campaign Name, Email Subject, and From Name
- Select which Email Lists you'd like to send to, as well as which Email Lists you want to exclude, if any. Excluding a list tell the system that, if there are any emails that are in the exclude list that are also in the include list, do not send to those people.
- Next, design your email campaign however you like using the content blocks in the right column.
- Note: You can edit the email's header, footer, background color, and text colors in the Settings section within the Email Marketing section.
- Many content types also have different layout options, like the Event and Event Types list.
- Also, most text content areas have many formatting options, including adding images!
- You can also re-order your content areas in the left column. When you hover over any content area in the preview pane, a grab icon appears in the edit toolbar:
- Click and drag on this icon to re-order your content.
- At any point during the email creation process, you can send a test email to review how the email looks. There is a SEND TEST button above the preview pane.
- When you are happy with your email design and you are ready to schedule the email send date, click SAVE & CONTINUE above the preview pane.
- You will have one more chance to send a test email to whatever email address you are logged into SeatEngine with. Once it's ready to be sent out, select the date and time you would like the email to go out and click SCHEDULE.
PLEASE NOTE THAT ONCE YOU SCHEDULE AN EMAIL TO BE SENT, YOU CANNOT MAKE ANY FURTHER CHANGES TO THE EMAIL.
